Azaleah sat on a bench, her breakfast laying on top of her book of lesson plans, which she was attempting to read without spilling orange juice all over everything. She took a bite of eggs and scanned the book, with her tiny, cramped writing covering the pages. She had planned the lessons about 6 months ahead, and hadn't wanted to have anything go wrong, seeing as this was her first day. She tapped her feet, her black heels clicking against the sidewalk, knowing she must be almost late. She picked up her book and the remains of her breakfast, trying to scarf it down as fast as she could.

Minnie was walking around, her books of plans in her arms. Her white, silky swung around her shoulders as she walked. She saw the girl sitting on the bench, and sat next to her, putting her books down on the other side of her. She said, "Is it ok if I sit here?"

"Does it matter?" Myna hissed two seats away. "Keep it down would you? Some of us need breakfast for thought."

"Yes, that would be just marvelous!" Leea replied, "I'm Azaleah, although I much do prefer Leea... I'm the new Ardhi teacher... and english. English too." she said this all very fast, and grinned broadly, holding out her hand.

Minnie shrugged her eyebrows and looked to her lesson plans. She scanned over the fun activities that she had. She had already eaten breakfast today- an egg and bacon sandwich and some strawberry milk- her favorite meal. She couldn't help drawing her eyes over to what the other Ticha had planned for her class today. She said, "Hmm! Good ideas! Mine aren't nearly as good as those." She scanned over her lame plans of lighting small fires on sticks.

Myna got up and walked over to them, the fringes of her new satin blue skirt brushing the floor. "If you don't mind, I like my breakfast in SILENCE. Don't you? Your very iritating." I don't like them already.

Leea craned her neck over to look at Minnie's lesson plans, "Those are good too! I suppose they've got to be quite different, different elements on things. Do you think the first week is two early to start assigning essays? I mean, I love essays. Maybe if i don't make it due for awhile... hmm." she said, still talking quite quickly. "For gym, I do believe I'm going to just start with something simple.. planting seeds, things like that.."
She looked at Myna, "Well darling, if you can't stand talking, I suggest you go somewhere else, we're discussing lessons"

Minnie got up, and one could almost see a flare in her eyes. "Then you can go to eat somewhere else if you want peace. You can't just expect silence, The Grounds are a place to interact with others." She sat back down, picked her books back up, and kept looking over her notes.
She looked over at Leea and said, "I guess your right. I might assign a pre-test at the beginning, just to see what the students do and do not know, then I'll start teaching what most kids do not know first. I love to teach, because it is a chance to help the kids. Its just so mind-inspiring, don't you think?"

"Oh my" Leea said, her voice slightly shrill and upset, she didn't like being yelled at by this complete stranger.. and for talking, of all things. "Well, what can one do, right?" she said, looked back at Minnie, "I'm quite excited actually, never actually taught anything before, a bit nervous too" In fact, 'A bit' was a huge understatement, Leea was going over things again and again, worrying and dreading, thinking over any possible problem, anything that could go wrong. Each prospect seemed worse then the last.

Minnie nodded. "What's your name?" she asked. She grabbed ahold of her silver hair and brushed it over her shoulder with her fingers, and her red bangs bounced over her forehead. "I'm Minnie. I am the Moto Gym Ticha."

"Didn't I say that already?" she paused, "Ya know what, I really can't remember. But anyway, I'm Azaleah, although call me Leea, I'm teaching english and Ardhi Gym" She told her.

"My real name is Asumini, you pronounce it like a Z, not an S though, like A-Zoo-Minnie." She giggled. People always mispronounced her name, said it like "Ay-Suh-Men-Ay", or "As-Many." She always told people to pronounce her name right. "But you can call me Minnie everyday. Don't call me Asumini unless you're being serious." Her face smiled, and her earrings were glowing red in happiness. She asked Leea, "Do you have any family here with you?"

"Nope" Leea said, her face falling slightly, but only slightly, "My father died when I was 18, and my sister sailed off around the same time and I havent seen her since. My mothers still alive though, she lives wayyyyy off by the ocean, very pretty cottage actually, nice interior decoration, she has all these paintings and.. its pretty!" she said, smiling again, thinking of the cottage.

Minnie looked down. "I used to have a mother and a father and 3 sisters... When I was 13, they ran off with some boys and had kids. We dont know if they died or lived, but they were real dopes. They made out when they were 6 years old, and wore dresses that were sizes to short for them. 2 years later, when I was 15, my mom and dad died of the flu and I've been alone ever since."

"I'm sorry.." Azaleah said, sighing. She stuffed the last forkfull of scrambled eggs into her mouth, and washed them down with the rest of the orange juice, then she sat glass and plate down on the bench beside her.
